Facts about players and events come from reliable public sources, cited in the text. Results and rankings come from World Table Tennis public data. We use AI tools to research and draft, and anything we cannot confirm is left out. Mistakes are fixed as soon as they are reported.

This page explains how the RealTT blog researches, writes and corrects what it publishes.

Sources

  • Player profiles: dates, titles, rankings and playing style come from public sources such as World Table Tennis (WTT), the ITTF, Olympics.com, national federations and encyclopedias, checked against each other. The main sources are listed at the end of each profile.
  • Results, calendar and ranking: tournament pages, match histories, head-to-heads and the world ranking are generated automatically from WTT public data, refreshed every few minutes. Each page names the source and links to the official site.
  • Rules and technique: we follow the ITTF rulebook and coaching practice. When a rule changes, we update the article.

What we leave out

If a fact cannot be confirmed by a reliable source, it does not go in. We prefer a shorter profile to one with a wrong fact.

Use of AI

We use AI tools to help with research, drafting and translation between Portuguese, English and Spanish. Facts follow the rules above: a public source, checked, nothing made up.

Updates

Every article shows its last update date. Player profiles are reviewed after major results; results and rankings update on their own.

Independence

Brands do not pay us to talk about equipment, and the blog shows no third-party ads. The only banners are for the RealTT game itself.
