Playing style

Liang is a right-handed shakehand attacker nicknamed "the Aggressor". What counts most in his game:

  • Close-to-the-table play, attacking on both wings.
  • A powerful backhand, his main tool for building the point; some analyses compare it to Fan Zhendong's backhand.
  • Spin combined with speed, with a very textbook technique and plenty of physical strength.
